Baptism / Communion

BAPTISMS AT RIVER OF LIFE CHURCH

Jesus stated in the Great Commission "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Mathew 28:19).  Scripture teaches that baptism is done as a profession of faith and in obedience to our Lord's command.  We believe that water baptism by immersion is the next step for a person who has received Jesus Christ as Savior and is committed to following Christ.

We will be performing baptisms throughout the year, please contact the church office for more information.

 If you are interested in being baptized please complete the Baptism Testimony Sheet and mail it to the church office.  We will contact you to confirm receipt and set up a time for your baptism.

COMMUNION AT RIVER OF LIFE CHURCH

"While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body."  Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you.  This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for the forgivness of sins.' - Mathew 26:26-28

Jesus call His followers to continually remember the great sacrifice He paid for our sins through the symbolic act of taking communion.  River of Lfie Church believes that communion is a time for the church to gather together to pray, confess, worship, and take communion as a response to God's loving grace and mercy.

Our Communion Srvices are on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month.
